While you rewind or fast-forward a programme from the archive, the app can show a small picture of the moment you are seeking to. With the older interface styles it also does so in live streams that can be rewound (see DVR / timeshift). It needs the provider to offer such pictures:
Flussonic with thumbnails enabled (detected while the channel plays with
Use hardware codecs), orseek_preview attribute (since 1.7.5.2, see the
M3U format and the OTC format).If your provider offers neither, there is no preview: the app cannot make one from the video.
The previews are on by default. To turn them off:
Settings > Player > Shows archive > Show image preview while doing rewind or fast forward. Only works if supported by provider.
The option is shown on TV devices (not on touch screens), when one of your providers has an archive, and not in
Simplified mode.
