Most playback fixes in this section start in the player menu. To open it while a channel plays:
On a phone held upright the menu opens as a list over the panel under the video.
What the menu looks like depends on the interface style, set in
Settings > Player interface > Style of heads-up interface. Unified is the default; choosing another style needs
premium.
Unified and Line (the default)The menu opens under the programme info: a row of buttons and, below it, your recent channels.
Start over (channels with an archive), Channels, Schedule, Audio and subtitles
(when there is something to choose), Favorite, Record (premium). Watching the archive: Switch to live,
Previous programme, Next programme, Schedule, Audio and subtitles.More, the last button, opens a list at the side with everything else, in three sections:
Playback: Media tracks, Aspect ratio, Audio shift, Switch codec, the sleep timer, brightness and more;Channel and programme: Switch to another media source, Manage channel, and others;Go to: the TV guide, search, Player interface, Buttons in the row, Settings.Only items that work for the current channel are shown.
Customize the row: press and hold OK on a button of the row (long tap on a touch screen), or choose
More > Buttons in the row. Check the items you want in the row; the rest stay in More. This needs premium.
To have the side list instead of the row, set Settings > Player interface > Menu visual style to At the side.
Top and bottom, Plate, Compact, Bar and Large keep the older menu: a grid or list of items. Playback options
are in Parameters: Aspect ratio, Switch codec, Open in external player, Media tracks, OpenSubtitles,
Audio shift, the sleep timer, Manage channel.
Press and hold OK on an item (long tap) to change the Menu visual style and Menu buttons visibility (not in
Simplified mode).
In Simplified mode (Settings > Extended settings > User experience level) the menu shows only the basic items, and
many options of this section, such as Switch codec and Audio shift, are hidden. Switch to Normal mode to see
them.
What the keys of the remote do in the player: Settings > Player > Setup remote controller (OK, arrows, color keys and
more). What taps and double taps on parts of the screen do: Settings > Player > Touch zones configuration.
